Contemplating the beauty of living amid the good and bad,
in the eyes of faith.
Renungan keindahan hidup dalam yang baik dan buruk, dengan mata kepercayaan.
ABOUT THE PAINTINGS
Inspired by the beauty of nature working in silence, the memory and feeling of the majestic wonder find its way to the canvas. My art practice usually begins in this way. Influenced by Claude Monet and Gustav Klimt, painting became a tool to make thoughts and emotions visible alongside visual reality. The arrangement in these paintings sometimes reveal unspoken internal disposition, as I contemplate the beauty of living amid the good and bad, in the eyes of faith.
After completing her post-graduate in Fine Arts, Adeline delved deeper into her art practice and uses the natural environment as a social context in her paintings. She was selected as one of the graduates featured in Harian Metro (2019), Segaris Art Centre and was shortlisted for UOB Painting of the Year in Malaysia (2017). Adeline also runs an art studio alongside her art practice, teaching children and adults in order to help them discover their own sensibilities. She lives and works near Kuala Lumpur.
