ABOUT THE PAINTINGS

Inspired by the beauty of nature working in silence, the memory and feeling find its way to the canvas. My art practice usually begins in this way. Influenced by Monet and Klimt, these paintings sometimes reveal unspoken internal disposition, as I contemplate the beauty of living amid the good and bad, in the eyes of faith.

ARTIST BACKGROUND

ADELINE ALYSSA

Trained in Fine Arts, Adeline paints the natural landscape as an interpretation of the social context. She was selected as one of the graduates featured in Harian Metro (2019), Segaris Art Centre and was shortlisted for UOB Painting of the Year in Malaysia (2017). Adeline also runs an art studio, teaching children and adults to discover their own sensibilities. She lives and works near Kuala Lumpur.
